Green Venture’s 14th Annual Seedy Saturday Returns!
Event featuring Seed Swap, Workshops, and details of the Rain Ready Rebate Program
Hamilton, ON – Green thumbs and eco-enthusiasts, mark your calendars! Green Venture is proud to host the 14th Annual Seedy Saturday on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 10 am- 3 pm at the Hamilton Public Library Central Branch. This community-favorite event celebrates local gardening, seed saving, and sustainable practices.
Seedy Saturday offers an exciting opportunity to connect with fellow gardeners, listen to experts, swap seeds, and gain inspiration for the upcoming growing season. Open to all levels of gardeners, this is the perfect place to cultivate your knowledge and passion.
This year’s event includes an “Ask the Experts” session to learn more about Green Venture’s new Rain Ready Rebate Program, funded by the City of Hamilton. Learn how to qualify and apply for rebates of up to $5,000!

Rain Ready Rebate Program Overview
The Rain Ready Rebate Program will provide Hamilton residents with funding of up to $5,000 for sustainable stormwater management projects, including rain gardens and permeable paving. Applications for the rebate program open on February 1, 2025.
