This workshop will explore water stewardship and our connection to local waterways, helping participants better understand the importance of protecting the water systems that support our communities and environment.
This interactive workshop explores our connection to water by moving from inner reflection to collective action. We will highlight how individual efforts combine to create a positive impact across our local ecosystems. Hosted as part of Green Venture's Stormwater Week, this workshop invites participants to discover their unique connection to water and explore how individual actions ripple out into larger systemic effects. We will engage in a hands-on art project that uses storytelling to express our bond to water. Learn about the work Water Watchers is doing to protect vital water relationships and about Green Venture's Rain Ready Hamilton program, as opportunities to reciprocate care for the water that connects us to life.
Whether you are passionate about environmental protection, interested in learning more about Hamilton’s waterways, or simply curious about how your everyday actions can make a difference, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn and connect with others.
