Adopt a Site: Green Venture’s Corporate Responsibility Initiative
Adopt a Site invites local businesses and corporations to commit to 2–3 stewardship events at a chosen green space throughout the summer or support this cause through a donation. These efforts support biodiversity, rehabilitate urban spaces, and promote environmental health.
Many of the sites we’ve transformed are located along Barton Street, where native pollinator and rain gardens play a vital role in restoring the local ecosystem.
Green Venture has:
Transformed over 41 sites across Hamilton
Planted 2,650 + trees
Depaved over 1,585.5 m2 of asphalt/concrete
These sites also contribute to our cities' resilience to climate change, and we need your help to maintain them so they can continue offering their benefits and providing accessible green spaces to the community."
