Dundas Valley Stewardship Stroll

This event has already taken place.

Join us for the Dundas Stewardship Stroll as we work to rehabilitate and enhance stormwater infiltration through native pollinator gardens. Green Venture, Dundas Valley School of Art, and community members have established beautiful native gardens to support local biodiversity and environmental health.

Details:

We’ll begin at the Dundas Valley School of Art, where you’ll explore and help care for a garden featuring native plants like wood ferns and red columbine. From there, we’ll move on to the rain garden at Governors Road, learning about its role in managing stormwater while enjoying this thoughtfully designed space.

Gardener or not, everyone is welcome! Bring your friends and family as we connect, contribute, and enjoy a greener Dundas. Rain or shine, the event will still be on!

What to Bring / Wear:
Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, a sun hat, sunscreen, and bring a reusable water bottle. We will provide tools, gloves, bags, and anything else we may need. But please feel free to bring your gloves and tools.
