Make the most of your fall PA days with Green Venture! This November 27th, we are excited to invite families to our site located at 22 Veevers Drive for activities, games, and good times in nature. Our sprawling 2-acre site of greenspace and wildflower gardens is the perfect location for your child to spend the day engaging in nature exploration, land-based learning, playing with other kids, and more!
Activities may include: firebuilding, gardening, natural arts and crafts, nature-based games and learning activities, free time for exploration, birdwatching, card games, and more. Coffee will be available for adults.

⭐ Drop-in anytime with free RSVP ahead of time
⭐ Adult guardians must supervise their children (program is NOT drop-off!)
⭐ We provide snack, but pack your own nut-free lunch!
Families interested in these free PA day visits only need to RSVP, pack a nut-free lunch, and come dressed for the weather. We have extra gear including rainboots and jackets to loan out to those who need; and will provide a healthy snack to all kids.

Those interested in this opportunity must be comfortable working with children and being outdoors. Ages 14+ may sign up, but those 18+ will need to complete a background check.
Please note that we will do our best to provide vegan, halal, and allergy-safe snack options for everyone. We ask that families packing lunch for themselves avoid common dangerous allergens in their ingredients, most notably nuts. Participants must pack out any garbage that they bring to site, though we will dispose of recyclable and compostable items for you. Note that our event does not allow smoking or alcohol consumption.
