Our EcoHouse sits on 2 acres, featuring Hamilton’s first community garden, a mini-forest, rain gardens, solar panels, permeable pavers, and more. These grounds require ongoing maintenance to continue serving as an ecological demonstration space for the community.
In this session, we will learn about any of the following:
- Plant identification
- Biodiversity in the local community
- Plant science
- Local green infrastructure initiatives, and more!
Gardening tasks can include invasive species removal, mulching, planting, watering, seed sorting, aerating the soil, and other maintenance.
