Introducing The Elderberries, a welcoming nature program for adults 50+ at EcoHouse. Spend a relaxing morning in the gardens, learn simple horticultural skills, and connect with others in a friendly, low-pressure environment.

A new pilot program:

Enhancing Access to Nature for Older Adults and Seniors is a developing Green Venture project aimed at increasing and improving access to green spaces and community for Hamilton older adults and seniors. This program will run under the name "The Elderberries" and occurs at Green Venture’s EcoHouse location at 22 Veevers Drive, Hamilton Ontario. 

Over 50? Then join us for a 2-hour session where we'll enjoy time in nature, learn new horticultural skills, and all while socializing! Our current dates (also in the event calendar) are set for April 2, April 10, and April 16. All sessions begin at 11 am and end at 1 pm, and are open to people ages 50+. 

Limited seating is available at each session.
