Lawfield Elementary School Mini Forest Planting - Evening Shift
We're planting a mini forest! This evening shift is open to the public no vulnerable sector check required.
Join Green Venture and Lawfield Elementary School teachers, students, parents, community members, and project funders and supporters as we plant 400 trees and shrubs to create a mini forest!
Evening Shift Volunteers will arrive at 3:00 PM to assist Green Venture staff with moving small trees into place.
Sign up online. When you arrive, the mini forest location is east of the school, next to Berko Ave., immediately next to the school parking lot. Volunteers will help arrange small trees in the planting area, help Green Venture staff provide direction and support for community members, including students and parents, and assist with clean-up after the event.
Tools and gloves will be provided. Please bring a refillable water bottle and wear closed-toe shoes. Parking is available in the Laidlaw Elementary School parking lot. Bus access via #24 bus.
