On July 9th, we will be focusing on mini-forest stewardship at Morton Park. Come join us, we will meet in front of the playground equipment at 55 Larraine Avenue. We will learn about the importance of mini-forests, their design and maintenance, plus tree identification. Our tasks will include removing invasive weeds, pruning dead branches, picking up litter and mulching priority areas, going up to 6 pm. Please remember to bring comfortable, outdoor clothes, a water bottle, and we will supply the rest!
