Join us on Friday, June 13th, for a hands-on workshop to create unique handmade paper!
This exciting event offers participants the chance to experiment with making paper from upcycled materials or natural fibers. During this workshop, you'll learn the fundamental steps of papermaking, including pulping, sheet formation, pressing, and drying. Plus, you can personalize your paper by embedding objects like native seeds or flowers for a special touch.
Rooted in sustainability, paper making helps reduce paper waste, limits the demand for new resources, and is completely chemical-free process!
Make a sustainable Father's Day card, one-of-a-kind bookmarks, design unique stationery for letters or notes, the possibilities are endless! Everyone will have the chance to bring home the paper they've created.
All materials and a light snack will be provided. Donations are encouraged and will support our 30th anniversary funding initiative. To celebrate Green Venture's milestone, we've set a goal to raise $30,000 this year to fund accessible environmental programming, vital community greening projects, and create lasting positive change for future generations.
Come out, make some paper, connect with others, and contribute to a sustainable future!
