Join the Urban Gardening Club! These events include opportunities to learn and share garden skills, hear about the science behind some of Green Venture's gardens, and develop in-depth, place-based knowledge about the sites Green Venture has developed.
Join us on Tuesday, May 12, 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM, when the Urban Gardening Club will be meeting at the Riverdale Salad Bowl Community Garden to help the community expand their garden. Based on demand for productive growing space, the community is DOUBLING the size of their garden, but they can't do it without community support. This event is all about moving soil with wheelbarrows, shovelling, and raking out soil into raised garden beds.
Snacks available, and we will take a break to enjoy some pizza together!
