Volunteer at Morton Park's Mini Forest
We're seeking volunteers to help us gather data on Mini Forests in Hamilton! Over 600 trees have been planted within just 200 m², creating a rich and diverse green space and home for many native species. Evaluating Morton Park's Mini Forest outcomes involves looking at factors such as tree growth rates, seedling survivorship, soil structure, and soil microorganisms, but we need your help! We’ll also tackle stewardship tasks, including invasive species removals. Regardless of prior experience, everyone is welcome and appreciated at this stewardship event. Make sure to bring your friends and family, let's grow together!
