Yellow Fish Road Tour with BARC

Join us at our stormwater week event in collaboration with Bay Area Restoration Council! 

Bay Area Restoration Council (BARC) is an environmental charity focused on the revitalization of the Hamilton Harbour and its watershed through restoration, education, and collaboration. One of the many programs BARC runs is called Yellow Fish Road™. This program creates awareness about the impact of household hazardous waste by discussing different types of waste, how waste makes its way into our waterways, and what this means for the environment. Participants also mark storm drains with fish symbols and the message "only rain down the drain" to remind the community to be mindful about waste disposal.
