As we roll into the summer months, it's time to get outside and make a positive impact! Make a difference in your local community this summer with the Urban Gardening Club.
This free, welcoming club provides a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and enhance your environmental knowledge. No experience is needed; this volunteer opportunity is open to everyone!
The Urban Gardening Club includes stewardship sessions at various green spaces around Hamilton, hands-on monitoring training sessions, and eco-friendly workshops. As a club member, you’ll have the chance to care for and monitor green spaces across Hamilton, all while learning about their ecological benefits. No experience is needed; volunteer opportunities are open to everyone!
Workshop Topics Include: The amazing abilities of fungi, invasive vs. native species identification, ecological gardening practices, the importance of low-impact development, and much more!
