As 2024 comes to a close, we are proud to report on the local environmental impact we’ve made this year with your help!
With the support of over 1,180 volunteers 🙌, we were able to:
🌱 Transform 8 community greening sites
👩👧👦 Engage over 4,200 Hamilton youth
🌍 Reduce 490.6 tonnes of GHG emissions annually
🌧️ Soak up 1,069,419 L of stormwater every time it rains.
We connected with thousands of people across Hamilton who are passionate about planting rain gardens to soak up stormwater, planting, monitoring and caring for mini forests and trees to improve biodiversity and air quality, reducing emissions from their homes, greening their neighbourhoods, schools and church properties, connecting children with nature, and supporting youth to lead on environmental action.

- 🌍 ~80,000 kg of CO₂ emissions reduced
- 💧 20 million gallons of water saved

- 📊 359 audits conducted
- 🌱 35% average GHG reduction per household
