Welcome to YouthQuake
What is YouthQuake?
YouthQuake is a drop-in program for teens and young adults aged 14-25 to get involved with environmental topics. Hosted by Green Venture, all about learning, sharing opinions and knowledge, and finding real ways to help the planet through sustainable and engaging crafts. We host virtual and in-person YouthQuake meetings for eco conversations. Recent topics have included waste, consumerism, fast fashion, food choices, and more. The conversations are youth-led and guided by Green Venture staff, with the occasional opportunity for guest speakers in the environmental field to share their expertise! Earn 1.5 volunteer hours at each meeting.
Upcoming Sessions:
November 12th and November 26th. Sessions are always held at 22 Veevers Drive, from 4:30 - 6pm.
